Anemonella thalictroides ‘Cameo’ is a classic double-flowered form of the eastern North American native rue anemone with exquisite, fully double, pale pink flowers that can be white in warm climates. One of the most beautiful spring flowers – a little jewel in the spring garden. Bloom time can last for months — since the reproductive structures have become petals the flowers cannot be pollinated. Without pollination there is no signal for flowering to stop and petals to fall. That’s convenient. Easy in gritty, well-drained soil. Plants go dormant by summer.
