Dahlia Mystic Illusion has warm, sunny yellow single flowers with a flush of orange at the centre and luscious, extremely dark burgundy, filigreed foliage. The Mystic Series has some of the darkest foliage of any dahlia. Excellent in containers or in the garden. Will bloom from June until October. Three options for winter starting with the easiest and safest: 1. grow in a pot and move to a frost-free area, 2. lift tubers and store, 3. (for coastal BC) leave in the ground in well-drained, sunny beds under a mound of fallen leaves. Cultivar name: ‘Knockout’.
