Amazon lily (Eucharis amazonica) has white fragrant flowers that look like clusters of tropical daffodils. They generally appear in winter but can bloom several times through the year. The thick, dark green leaves are attractive, evergreen and broadly lance-shaped on long petioles and make for a beautiful houseplant. Grow indoors year round or, better yet, give the plants a partly shaded vacation on the summer patio before bringing indoors in fall.
