Filipendula rubra ‘Venusta’ is known as meadowsweet or queen of the prairie. It is a tall, 4-8 feet high, stately, super hardy perennial with gorgeous, cloud-like, sprays of small pink flowers from deeper pink buds. Both the flowers and the bright green, deeply cut foliage are fragrant.
