The Japanese irises offer the largest flowers of all iris groups with very interesting colour combinations. They prefer full sun and moist soil. ‘Michinoku Toge’ is a rare Japanese selection with mid pink, magenta and yellow flowers. The petals are narrower and more elegant than more brash cultivars. Tolerant of wet sites.
