Ligularia dentata ‘Britt-Marie Crawford’ forms lush mounds 30 inches high and wide with the deepest burgundy-black leaves and deep yellow daisy-like flowers in summer. An exciting perennial for the moist shade garden. If you love burgundy foliage but dislike bright yellow follow the advice of garden writer Marjorie Harris and snip off the flower stems before they open! Loves average to moist soils and even wet soils. Tolerant of part sun if planted in a wet location. Foliage colour will be darker in more light.
