Phygelius Colorburst ‘Rose’, commonly known as Cape fuchsia, is a definite eye-catcher with its early-blooming, intense purple-rose flowers. A fantastic upright and mounding growth habit of 20-30 inches tall and 28 inches wide sees the burgundy flowering stems rise above its green foliage smothered with tubular, dangling flowers from late spring until fall! Fast growing too. Use in the perennial border, the subtropical garden, amongst shrubs, or in containers. Best in full sun with well-drained soil. Attracts hummingbirds. Deer resistant.
