Rhododendron ‘Cherry Cheesecake’ is truly decadent displaying white flowers with dark red flecks on each upper lobe and lightly ruffled edges in bright pink. Thick, dark green foliage provides a luxurious leathery backdrop. The growth habit is upright and dense, 4 to 5 feet tall and wide. Responds well to pruning after flowering. Benefits with evenly moist, well-drained, slightly acidic-based soil and mulch. Use as an accent, understorey or foundation shrub, mass planting and for winter interest. Attracts bees and bumblebees.
