Smilacina japonica ‘Snow Dragon’

Smilacina japonica is a false Solomon's Seal with white flowers on arching stems with red then purple fruit in fall. 'Snow Dragon' has rare variegated leaves.

‘Snow Dragon’ has a pure white broad marginal variegation to each leaf. Its creeping rhizomes produce arching stems of alternating long elliptic leaves terminating in a panicle of white flowers, followed by fleshy red fruits which turn purple with age. Requires partial shade and moist well-drained soil. An outstanding and dramatic perennial species.
