Tricyrtis ‘Edo no Hana’/’Flower of Edo’

Warm purple spots on white and purple flowers provide botanical intrigue in the shade garden.

This exciting toad lily has an arching habit and beautiful flowers with white petals, purple toward the tips and heavy warm purple spotting. Toad lilies are wonderful plants for the late summer and fall shade garden. Most grow on elegant arching stems often with lightly mottled foliage. They produce multitudes of ornate orchid-like flowers that are usually white (sometimes yellow) with various degrees of purple spotting.
