Winter jasmine, Jasminum nudiflorum, is a trailing, vine-like shrub with arching, wiry branches that pile up on top of each other to form a spreading mound. The deciduous stems produce masses of unscented bright yellow flowers in late winter and early spring. Trifoliate leaves emerge in spring. Can be used as a mounding groundcover or trained to grow up a trellis.
