Description
‘Sunsation’ blooms abundantly, even from a very young age, displaying large, six inch blossoms of rich glowing yellow petals flared with deep pink at the base. It forms a handsome mid-sized tree with a uniform, pyramidal shape. This is the latest yellow magnolia to bloom keeping buds safe from late frosts. It also blooms before the leaves emerge allowing the flowers to shine in all their glory. For the 2025 Rare Flowering Tree Pre-Order plants will be in 1g pots and about 1-2 feet tall.
